Bluetooth DualSense Controller Cant Map Joysticks Or D Pad

Under Input Controls > External Controllers I'm trying to make bindings for my controller. Only half of one joystick is registering and none of the D pad is registering. Other buttons are fine. I tried a USB C wired Xbox controller, only one joystick registers, some other buttons are not registering.

I know that all of the buttons and joysticks work, because in games where I don't need a custom mapping, all controls work fine.
