Pressing <c-f> when entering either a vim command or search pattern will allow you to edit vim's commandline in the [Command Line] buffer. This is pretty similar to what nvim-terminus does for the terminal command line, I wonder if its possible to use the [Command Line] buffer rather than a scratch buffer
