The Automap

The automap is a top-down representation of the current map, and the player’s position within it.

While the automap is open, there are a few keys that have special functions:

Control Action
+ / – Zoom In/Out
F Follow Mode
R Rotate Mode
G Grid
M Mark Spot
C Clear Mark(s)1
0 Full Zoom
↑ / ↓ / ← / → Pan2
W / A / S / D Pan2

The automap may be shown on an external display by enabling the am_external CVAR in the console.



1Press to clear the last mark, and hold to clear them all.
2Panning around the automap can only be performed when follow mode is off.
