monthly_cloc

Count lines of code in a project over time

Execute from the root directory of a git project. It will check out the specified branch (or master) at monthly intervals from the specified date, for the specified number of months

The output can be piped to a csv file for easy consumption.

Dependencies

• cloc (Count lines of code)
• git (installation)

Usage

python monthly_cloc.py <date YYYY-mm-dd> <month_count> [git_branch]
