I'm Bahadır Gezer, an avid sailor, part-time software developer, a junior computer engineering student at Boğaziçi University, and a member of this software development group. I define myself as a person with grit and tenacity. My software engineering work revolves around enterprise web applications. Currently, working part-time at Şikayetvar, and working on Leext, our start-up. I'm also doing student assistant work for Cmpe230, and previously for Cmpe160 and Cmpe250. On top of all this I'm an active sailor, I attend races and give lessons.

Our group is pretty strong in terms of self-regulation, communication and planning. Work does finish and it finishes in an efficient manner when things actually need to get done. Personally, I enjoy being a part of this group a lot of them were good friends of mine before this project.

Responsibilities

As an involved member I attended weekly and instantaneous meetings. I finished weekly tasks given in lectures and through announcements. We separated into groups after the requirements elicitation phase. I was responsible for creating mockup drafts, mockup finalizations, and other mockup related tasks. After the mockup phase, I worked on use-case diagrams, and sequence diagrams. I did not touch the class diagrams, just minor feedback. Finally, I finished up on the project milestone report.

Main Contributions:

My main goal during our meetings was to not waste time, and direct the meeting in clear goals. This sometimes meant shortening the current meeting and reconvening for another meeting after some research and individual study, and sometimes meant moving the discussion forward with new information.

My other contributions include but are not limited to: creating about me page template, filling personal about me page, creating wiki form by additions like the sidebar, general and regular format fixes to the wiki, doing the research work about our favorite GitHub repository for which I chose the spring-security project, creating and decorating our repository with relevant tags, discussing and creating the mockup drafts with Begüm and Sude, created the drafts for new post, post page, new interest area, interest area page, pop-up notification, and settings page, creating the messaging mockup for web, teaching the team about figma-related details, fixing the duplicate data and reorganizing groups on our mockup page in figma, creating authorization flow pages for the mobile mockup pages, discussed our conventions and then created the use-case diagrams, reorganized the use-case diagrams after the initial creation phase, worked on, created, and provided the framework for our sequence diagrams, worked on the elicitation process for the requirements, created the task-date template for the project report and finally filled individual parts of the milestone report.

Management related significant issues:

1. Directed the meetings to move forward with the project.
2. Managed the creation (design, thought process, validation with the requirements) of mockups with Begüm and Sude.
3. Managed the creation of use-case diagrams with my teammates.
4. Managed the requirement elicitation process with my teammates.
