Serves: 4 Time: 10min prep + 20min cook
- 500g round steak (chicken should also work)
- 500g frozen veg
- 30g butter
- 1 brown onion
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 2 beef stock cubes in 1.5 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cream
- Mashed potato or rice
- Dice steaks. Defrost veg. Prep stock. Dice onion. Preheat oven to 180.
- Heat butter, cook onion and beef.
- Add vegetables and flour, stiring for 1 minute.
- Add stock + water and cream. Stir till boils and thickens.
- Add mixture to casserole dish. Top with mashed potato. Put in oven at 180 for 15 mins.
You could get away without putting this in the oven, just serve on mash or rice.
