- 1 - 1 1/2 kg silverside
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 4 Tb brown sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 Tb whole peppercorns
- water to cover
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 bay leaves
- onion
- Boil 2-4hr or 45 min in pressure cooker with quick release
- Let sit in the warm water ~15-30m
- If fork goes in easy, its ready
Throw in half onions, chunky carrots, spud, cabbage 1hr before finished for a meal
