Bulgogi - Korean BBQ Beef

Marinade

  • 3 Tb soy sauce
  • 2 Tb brown sugar [white sugar ok]
  • 1 Tb honey [ 2t sugar is also ok ]
  • 2 Tb rice cooking wine or red wine [mirin works too]
  • 1 Tb sesame oil
  • 2 Tb minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tb chopped spring onion
  • 1 Tbs kiwi fruit per 0.5kg meat [or 3 Tbs onion puree]

Ingredients

  • 0.5kg Thinly sliced beef (sirloin, top sirloin or any tender loin area)
  • Onion
  • Carrot
  • Mushroom
  • Capcicum

Method

  1. Marinade meat minimum 30m
  2. Stirfry meat till charred
  3. Drain juice to side while cooking, dont overload it needs to sizzle
