Hello everyone.
A last idea before summer: (optionally) rounded tip polygon/star, with sides/vertices 3 to whatever (maybe infinite?)
with the ability to set sides lenght, scale on X and Y, sides inclination, etc. Just have a look at the Inkscape equivalent here: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Shapes-Stars.html

Do you like the idea?

I think it is similar to #557 "hypocycloid" and could be integrated in a more general idea explained in #553 "universal plugin system".
