ValueError: could not convert string to float: 'housemaid' in Sagemaker module "Data Import and Exploration" #19

At step 6 within "Data Import and Exploration" at https://catalog.us-east-1.prod.workshops.aws/workshops/6838a1a5-4516-4153-90ce-ac49ca8e1357/en-US/75-sagemaker-studio/09-02-import getting the error:
ValueError: could not convert string to float: 'housemaid'

This was in an environment built from a fresh git clone and cloudformation stack creation today. In step #4 , the pandas version was '2.1.3'
