Configuration

  • Keka version: 1.4.7 (5557)
  • macOS version: Sequoia 15.3.1

Describe the bug

When compressing a file or folder with VoiceOver enabled, the buttons to pause and cancel the compression are not properly labeled. VoiceOver announces them as "button button" instead of providing a clear description of their function, making it difficult for blind users to interact with them.

To Reproduce

  1. Open Keka.
  2. Start a compression with VoiceOver enabled.
  3. Navigate using VoiceOver to the pause and cancel buttons.
  4. VoiceOver announces "button button" instead of a clear description.

Expected behavior

VoiceOver should announce "Pause button" and "Cancel button" instead of "Button button" so blind users can correctly identify their function.

Thanks a lot for the tip @math65. Already fixed those ones plus other buttons in the task window and in the advanced window:

  • Show in Finder button
  • Show log button
  • Show/Hide password button
