I've just tried avcut which is a brilliant idea, but it is resulting in videos that are corrupt when trying to seek back and forth. How can this be corrected?

Sorry for the late response, I do not have much time to invest in avcut anymore.
I just released a new version with some fixes, could you test it again? Unfortunately, although all videos play fine and smoothly, I regularly found videos which differ in (or even miss) some detail which cause problems for avcut. I am certainly not an expert regarding video codecs or ffmpeg so avcut is in many ways the result of a try&error development.
If it does not work, an example video would help analyzing the issue. If that is not (legally) possible, please build avcut with "make debug" and send the output.
