Is there any way to get MDNX to remember progress and only update new / missing episodes?

I've been using a different application to download CrunchyRoll videos. In that application, there is a history or "memory" of your downloaded episodes so that not only are your shows remembered, but when a new episode is released, only the new episodes are downloaded. Is there such a feature in MDNX? It's kind of a pain to search every week for my series, then browse for the most current episode(s). I'm a newbie to this application, so I'm hoping I'm just missing an obvious piece of information that everybody else already knows.
