I was trying to use this plugin through a nixos installation and it could not write the doc repo because that's a readonly location in nix. Being able to configure the repo location would get around this and allow for XDG compliance.
seagoj pushed a commit to seagoj/nvinfo that referenced this issue Oct 19, 2024

This allows both XDG compliance and readonly filesystems (nixos) to use
the plugin.
