I'd love to have this simple feature in the Music app (that, I have to say, it's awesome!).
I've implemented it with a few line of code, the option about this in settings is obviously missing, let me know if you want me to do it

I'm going to leave this open for the time being. I'm rewriting a few things at the moment and after I push those changes, I'll go ahead and add this as well. I would also like to make it optional. Everything looks good though. I tested it and it worked smoothly. Nice work. :)

Hi,
I have this fixed in a private build, is there a way to submit this as a patch?

Wait, what did you fix, Dave?

I added the new Media intents to handle when the headphones are plugged in (or the bluetooth play/stop messages are sent). I have also added some advanced podcast support and audiobook bookmarking.

What is the status of this? The fix by @fdm225 seems to suggest that Apollo could be configured to auto-play when it connects to Bluetooth, a feature that would be extremely useful to me (use case: jump into car and drive off, music automatically starts playing when phone connects to car headunit via bluetooth, no need to get phone out of pocket and manually hit 'play')

Did Apollo used to have this feature? I can see some discussion here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1914927

I wouldn't mind having a crack at implementing this myself but I don't want to duplicate effort
