Can the .bst file be modified so that a title like "Question? Answer" preserves the capitalization of the A?

bibtex's builtin case function preserves capitalization after a colon, but not after a period or a question mark.
I suppose it would be possible to write code to to this ourselves this in the .bst, but I have not found any examples of .bst files that do this.
