Can --single-directory be a subdirectory?

Let's say I have this folder structure in Onedrive

|- Directory1
|- Directory2
    |- Subdirectory1
    |- Subdirectory2
|- Directory3

And I want to upload files into Subdirectory1, so I create this folder structure inside my --sync-dir folder and put everything into Subdirectory1

|- Directory2
    |- Subdirectory1

Is it possible to use --single-directory 'Directory2/Subdirectory1' to achieve this? All examples I've run into only use this option to indicate a single directory and not a "path"

You can 100% specify a path as the the item to sync.

Please ensure however:

• You test with --dry-run to ensure this works as intended for you
• You are running the latest 'release' or build the client manually from 'master'
  • A --single-directory bug was fixed post v2.5.3 release where if the 'path' is Shared Folder
