CIS 3515. INTRODUCTION TO MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT. 4 CREDIT HOURS. This course is typically offered in Fall and Spring. This course will introduce students to application development for mobile devices, and the various concerns of mobile platforms. Students will learn about the various constraints inherent to mobile applications as well as the new opportunities that they present. They will learn how to address challenges in hardware and mobile interface modalities by incorporating software design and user-interaction design principles. Additionally, students will be exposed to new models of software and data distribution, leveraging third party software, and managing local and remote data.

Repeatability: This course may not be repeated for additional credits.

Pre-requisites: CIS 2168|Minimum Grade of C-|May not be taken concurrently.
