You can aid Valour on our patreon! In the future, we will also have a GoFundMe for initial funding such as legal advice, infrastructure and voice chat support.
If you have a bug/suggestions it is recommended you use the Valour Github Issues, before creating an issue it is strongly advised you make sure no one else has submitted the bug, check the Development Board for suggestions and Bug Triage Board for bug issues. You should also look at 'I want [insert feature]!'.
If you are working on Vooper-Media-LLC/Valour it is required that you sign commits. Documentation for signed commits can be found here.
Valour does not have an official app for any platform currently and is officially only supported on the website valour.gg. If you to wish to have a valour app feel you can add it is a shortcut for chrome (and possibly install it as a PWA although it may not be supported) or other browsers like Safari and Edge.
You need to use a temporary password given to you on the email you used for your Valour account.

You will be able to customize your planets with different themes. It is most likely going to be custom CSS but it might change in the future.
In the future, Valour will be monetized using a subscription for communities and possibly one for specific users as well.
Valour will prioritize reports of activity that breaks the law, such as doxxing, illegal material and extortion. Valour will not punish people for being offensive and only assure safety and law.
Valour staff would only have access to private messages if legally required to or if it is required to confirm a user's report of illegal activity.
A lot of features that are suggested are already planned to be implemented it is just due to Valour being in it's very early stage means they haven't been coded yet. Some examples of asked for features like this are two factor authentication and password resets.
However if you do think that a feature that you are suggesting is unique it never hurts to suggest it!
It is not planned to have a voice chat until a viable product has released and funding has been received.
Local hosting would not be secure for people as the person hosting it could steal their data. Even if it was encrypted, Valour would have to process and proxy it which would cost money.
Planets are where your community will be on. There will be chat rooms and categories. Systems are an optional collection of planets. They would be primarily used for large communities or with many separate different sub-communities. For example, a nation roleplay where is multiple nations. Each nation would have its planet and they would be all in the one system for their roleplay.
System roles would be applied to every planet within the system. This would also apply the permission the system user has onto the planet and planets would have their roles as well. This means if someone was a system admin they would also be an admin on planets within the system almost acting like planets within a single planet.
Due to Valour's AGPL3 license, you can modify and use Valour however you want, but it must also be open source with a AGPL3 license. For more information, visit LICENSE.
Yes, there will be bots. You can use your account for self-botting as well if you wish. The only requirement needed for making bots is that you ensure they use the AGPL license. Refer to 'Is there anything I have to worry about if I make something for Valour?' for more details.
Currently the only official API wrapper is Valour.API for .NET which is under development. As it will be used by the Valour client it is guranteed to be up to date.
You will still have to make a Valour account even if you have a SV account. In the future you might be able to use your Valour account to sign into SV.
