Thanks for the PR. I've also thought of using the MIT license initially, but then I also wondered whether a copyleft license (such as the GNU GPL) might be a better choice 🤔. I'll discuss this issue with the University leadership as well, to see what their opinion is. |

If a copyleft license is desired, then I suggest LGPL 2.1 instead of GPL. |

MIT license is the "most" open-source license available, as it permits anyone to use the code as they please without any restrictions.
