This document describes the interaction with ZEsarUX.

The debugger connects to ZEsarUX locally at 127.0.0.1 on port 10000.

  • any response of "command>·" indicates CPU is running
  • any response of "command@cpu-step>·" indicates CPU is stopped and in step mode

Bit 0: show all cpu registers on cpu stepping or only pc+opcode.
Bit 1: show 8 next opcodes on cpu stepping.
Bit 2: Do not add a L preffix when searching source code labels.
Bit 3: Show bytes when debugging opcodes.
Bit 4: Repeat last command only by pressing enter.
Bit 5: Step over interrupt when running cpu-step, cpu-step-over and run verbose. It's the same setting as Step Over Interrupt on menu

Disable each individual breakpoint

  • First four entries represent each 16k slot. RO# = ROM number, RA# = RAM bank.
  • SCR indicates which bank is currently in the screen slot.
  • PEN indicates paging is enabled. Alternatively it would be PDI when disabled.
