Problem statement:

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 554 5.1.1 info@tei-c.org: Recipient address rejected:
undeliverable address: Mailbox might be disabled, full, or may not exist on
the server. Reason: JFE030050

The address is listed at https://tei-c.org/about/contact/ but it's also been shared with various bodies. I learnt about its being broken when I was contacted by an ISO committee secretary who'd tried to use the address listed at https://www.iso.org/organization/340283.html .

Well, this looks to be completely out of date… but it raises the question of what address we ought to be giving to the ISO!

To the ISO, yes, but also to the public -- the "contact" page is for a.o. the general public, after all.

I can add that alias, but where should it go? Council Chair?

Sure, that’s probably a good idea.

Should this one redirect to the Council email address, where we have a backup? Or just replace this address w the Council address (which I see we tested last fall).

Chair of the board would be another option for delivery recipient. (Which I believe we have another alias set up for?)

Otherwise, a communications officer might be another potential recipient? Or CC.

@hcayless @jamescummings This needs to be directed to Council at least. I learned yesterday from @bansp that the ISO has been trying to contact us for a long time through that email address and failing to find us is, well, apparently proposing to drop a liaison with us. Not good. I am writing to them now about that. Council needs to be connected to this address for information on technical matters.
