The Reports_examples folder contains examples of automatically generated reports and backup plots created using Markdown with R. These reports and backups are essential tools for monitoring data loss and understanding data dynamics at various stations on a monthly timescale.
Every 1st day of the month, a report is automatically generated and sent to designated recipients (scientists). This report highlights the amount of data loss at each station for the previous month, allowing scientists to:
- Identify stations with significant data loss.
- Take necessary actions to improve data collection or address underlying issues.
Below is an example from the November 2024 EddyPro Missing Data Summary Report (pages 1 and 2):
Daily-generated EddyPro plots provide an overview of data dynamics for specific stations. These plots help scientists understand:
- Monthly trends and dynamics.
- Detect anomalies such as spikes or unreliable data.
