Various ideas about improving the bash scripts were noted as FIXME comments.
These have been removed and are listed here:

  1. FIXME use configuration script to validate test files against multiple schemas, including fail tests

  2. FIXME use named pipes with mkfifo to eliminate temporary files

  3. FIXME use named pipes to avoid writing temporary files

  4. FIXME use a find command to get RuleML files at any depth

  5. FIXME Also download modules from cloud to temporary directory

  6. FIXME use a configuration text file to loop over doc creation

  7. FIXME: handle the script name variations for other versions and platforms
