I just installed inkbox on my kobo glo (N613). I tried to connect to wifi, but it says no networks were found.
In the logs it says:
Turning Wi-Fi ON
ifconfig: SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted
wlarm_le: wl driver adapter not found
I followed exactly the procedure here except used another sdcard than the one in there, since that one was only 2gb.
I tried to repeat the installation procedure, but no luck.
I want to also try to fix it myself, but i don't know how to access to the device. Do the serial ports work for this?
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
wifi on glo is a mess
Did you installed the 2.0 image?
Power the device off, turn it on and spam clicking the power button, then in diagnostics mode root the device - then ssh, usbnet can be enabled and you can access the rootfs ( well in your example, if you can, the serial connection will be the easiest to use )
offtopic: Someone could write a wiki article about rooting the device
