This enhancement will investigate the integration of the iterative GeocentricToGeodetic conversion method from The Manual of Photogrammetry, 5th Edition. It will start in a feature branch and once benchmark metrics are captured and the community has a chance to review, it may be proposed as a first-class enhancement to Proj4
