SMSGFX v1.4, big speed improvements

This is a massive release incorporating with improvements to the application speed and efficiency, it should now run much faster on older systems.

Headline features:

  • Re-wrote the rendering engine, application performance is vastly improved.
  • Improved performance when using tools almost all tools.
  • Added a loading screen!
  • Projects now have permalinks, so you can bookmark them (local only to your PC).
  • Support for sprite maps.
  • Better optimisation of graphics during code export.
  • Tile maps can be used as a reference image.
  • You can clone tile maps, including creating mirrored clones.
  • "Tile highlight" mode was added (user request) so that you can easily see other instances of the same tile.

Other improvements:

  • Paint bucket affects
  • You can order your projects by time, name, etc.
  • Project list loads quicker.
  • Click and drag on a palette or tile map header to re-order it in the list.
  • Palettes and tile maps can now be sorted.
  • More common sense defaults palettes.
