I'm uncertain if / how you'd like community members to go about contributing to the codebase-- but I've attached a few templates for open source project ReadMe files for inspiration.

A standardized method of contribution will be important, as integrating work from people who abide by different practices / repository-related ideologies would be a nightmare in the long run.

Nice, thank you Josh! It probably will be a while before I open up to code base contributions. I'de at least want to get a more seasoned Engineer on the team. I appreciate you looking out and sharing those resources. I'll take a look! :)
