Manual Install not working

I have installed with a git pull and then added the resource. and when I inspect (chrome F12) I can see the javascript file card-mod.js is listed and I can reach it remotely through the browser.
I have also created a new dashboard using settings > dashboards > Add Dashboard > New dashboard from scratch. I give it a name and then go to it. and start editing, I go to the raw edit and add at the very top of the page above views:

kiosk_mode:
  hide_header: true
  hide_sidebar: true
views:

but when I refresh it does nothing?
Is it because I am using home assistant core?

I suppose that when you mentioned card-mod.js you wanted to say kiosk-mode.js, right?
The most important thing before the configuration is to check that kiosk-mode is executed by the browser, just check the browser console to see if you have the console.info there:
