CCCL 2.8 has deprecated a lot of functionality (see #3700), which is going to be dropped in CCCL 3.0. Furthermore CCCL 3.0 plans several breaking changes (see #101). We should provide a guide on how to migrate from CCCL 2.8 to CCCL 3.0.
