This is the latest update to the MXP2 line of development and includes bug-fixes for php 5.6.x, updated template class and updated page header to handle templates based on phpBB 3.1 styles, below is a helpful compilation of requirements you'll need & features you can expect as well as the standard brief explanation to the codebase of this MXP release.

Overview
MX-Publisher Portal-CMS is a fully modular portal and CMS for phpBB. It features dynamic pages/blocks/themes by means of a powerful yet flexible Admin CP. While it uses integrated features, it works without touching phpBB. This makes it a lot easier to upgrade to phpBB 3 when the time comes, among other things. MXP2 requires phpBB2 to run, and currently supports the mySQLi and postgreSQL databases. MXP is the classical phpBB portal add-on, improved and enhanced for every phpBB version since 2001.

MXP 2.8.4 is a rewrite of the original MXP 2.7.x code left in place by the founder of MX-SYSTEM and as future versions of MXP are released this text will reflect each progressive change so that You can see what is being updated in each version.

MXP 2.8.0 relys on a new OO (object-oriented) design - to briefly explain what this means:
Object-oriented coding techniques within PHP code, scripts and applications gives developers greater flexibility and easier maintenance when creating php code in a development environment. Programs become easier to extend, or debug, and sharing code with other developers becomes simpler.

This is the 5th release of MXP 2.8.x (2.8.0 , 2.8.1 , 2.8.2, 2.8.3, 2.8.4), and as such is stable, feature locked with future releases along this branch being serious bug-fixes for PHP 5.6 and has big template features enabled. M.X.P. former Mx-System is written since 2001 for phpBB a popular open-source bulletin board community solution written in PHP.

This forum is open for testing M.X.P. with the latest version of phpBB3.

Our C.M.S. solution works standalone or with phpBB2/phpBB3 by using integrated features and functions. Mx-Publisher currently supports the MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. Mx-Publisher is the classical phpBB portal add-on, improved and enhanced for every phpBB version released since 2001.
