The interactive WebMap shows the simulated proliferation of building footprints in Nairobi since 1901.

Description

This webmap based on simulated years shows the proliferation of buildings in Nairobi since 1901. The user can use a slider to see the footprints in a particluar year or play the animation.

Behaviour of the application

All buildings are visualized from a single interface with play/stop animation button.

There are no search capabilities built in the map.

Development and Setup.

prerequisites

• First clone the project to your camputer. git clone <repo url>
• Ensure you have text editor such as Atom installed.
• Extract the files and open them in the editor.
• Run the index.html file in your browser.
