Tween Myristic acid

Fatty acid requiring strains such as fas1^- or fas2^- needs myristic acid and tween in the medium.

• 10 mL/L Tween 40 is Polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monopalmitate palmitate C16, providing palmitic acid (C16).

• 0.460 g/L myristic acid (hmy), providing shorter C14 fatty acids.
