We have had confirmation from National Grid that the power supply has been stabilised, and HPE Engineers are now bringing the system back. Unfortunately, it looks like power was lost to the storage array, and recovery of these is likely to require two lengthy full reboots and low level file system checks (in order to minimise risk of data loss). Which means that we are unlikely to see XCS back for a number of hours, and that there is a risk that service will not be fully restored until tomorrow morning. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and we will let you know updated timescales for service restoration when we have them |

System recovery and checks have now all completed, and I can see some users are now back on the system. Please feel free to resume work as normal, and if you experience any further issues please report them in the usual way (see Contact Us — Monsoon2 User Guide 1.0 documentation) Apologies once again for any inconvenience caused. |

We are aware users are experiencing issues with accessing XCS-C. We have experienced a power issue affecting IT Hall 3 which hosts XCS/Monsoon. The on-site teams are in the process of recovering the system, but we are awaiting confirmation that the power supply is fully stable too.
We will post all service status updates here.
Apologies for any inconvenience!
