Question about the library itself

I have a question for you , does the provided library actually let us our unit through a JS and can it be ported to other languages?
I am looking to buy a focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3rd gen for a project qnd was wondering if I can control it directly through python and in my search I stumbled upon your repo.
Does your library work on this very Model aswel?
And If you have the time can you guide me how did you managed to write this API and how can I port it or write one for controlling my unit using python.
