Updating the MCL Portal Logo
This document describes how to update the logo MCL portal.
- Using a browser, go to https://mcl.nci.nih.gov/login and log in using an account with Site Manager privileges.
- Once logged in, click your name in the lower left corner of the browser to open the Plone menu.
- Click "Site Setup".
- From the control panel, click "Site".
- Under "Site Logo", check the button "Replace with new image".
- Use your browser to select a new file to upload in its place. See image recommendations (below).
- Click "Save".
That's it. The new logo will be immediately available.
The National Institutes of Health mandates the theme, feel, coloration, emotion, look, and demeanor of the MCL logo. Creating your own is frowned upon. Contact MCL management for an appropriate logo. If they proved a scaled vector graphic, use it to generate a PNG bitmap with a transparent background about 56 pixels (at 72 PPI) high. Otherwise, ask for a PNG bitmap with a transparent background 56 pixels (at 72 PPI) high.
