dualstratum for non-eth/etc/zil coins (i.e. zclassic and zero;btg and tent)

I would like to be able to use the --dualstratum argument with non-eth/etc coins. All the examples show --dualstratum combined with --dualmode. Can --dualmode be linked to any supported algo instead of specifically to eth/etc? I like EQ192 and would like to dual mine with lolminer.
