RX 5600 Timeout (Centos 8)

I'm trying to stand up a new miner using Centos 8 and lolminer. I have downloaded both the 20.50 and 20.45 official AMD drivers and installed them with OpenCL enabled. When I do a 'clinfo', it shows me the 5600 as Device 0. However, when I fire up lolminer (using a properly configured 'mine_eth_4G.sh' file), I get

Setup Miner...
GPU detection thread timed out on card 0 of OpenCL platform 0.
Likely the card is dead, a rig reboot is recommended.

And of course, when it tries to start mining, it complains that all devices failed compatibility check. Am I missing something? Is this platform just too new?
