Dreaming: it's what you want out of life. You dream your future and if you stay aware with the other masteries, you can attain it.

A dream is distinguished by being higher than the material world. For example, "to own a house" is not a dream. But to learn how to build a house is a dream.

The enlightened warrior doesn't substitute their physical reality with dreaming activities. Be sure to stay in balance and know the reasons/purpose for engaging in it, lest they transform into an obsession.

There's only one thing that can get in the way that isn't surmountable: the facts. That's why to master this path you have to master the others as well: stalking and awareness. Stalking helps you find the path to achieve it, while awareness allows you to walk it.

It is said there are 7 doors to dreaming, they are cumulative rather than merely gateways:

  1. The first door is to cultivate your internal awareness. You cross this gate when you "find your hands" (or something you set up before sleep). This is called "reaching the dream body".
  2. The second door is to intend in your dream (rather than in your bed). You cross it when you move into a different dream. This is called "building the dream body".
  3. The third door is to connect your dream body with your physical body. This gate is crossed when you see your sleeping body from your dream body.
