Sometimes I get notified there's a new discussion/issue that I actually want to comment on or read and I find it's already been deleted and the account is also instantly deleted. My only guess is that github has decided the account/post was spam for some reason and just immediately nuked it |

Over the last several weeks, it looks like posts are being removed. Some of them were bug reports, others discussions.
Several people have noticed this, and in communicating with each other, we are not sure why.
As such, those folks have reached out to developer support as well as Github Trust and Safety teams. They have responded to those inquiries by email at least and are looking into it.
After the first few, we began collecting screenshots to make sure. Some of those accounts are now gone. In all of the screenshots we have, we haven't been able to show any bad language, abusive behavior, or anything else that would appear to us at least to violate the TOS.
As such, we have submitted the information to developer support and the trust and safety teams to determine what's going on. Maybe someone who knows how that works can help the community understand it?
People who take the time to submit reports, or open discussions to ask questions shouldn't be removed by the system, should they? Is there a limit to the number of posts you can make or do these people break a rule or something?
If you have posts taken down or accounts removed from Github upon submitting a report or asking a question on a public forum, please reach out developer support and trust and safety teams as well.
Several of the bug reports included valuable history which is now lost.
We also understood that just by asking this, should it be users who are initiating the actions, that they will probably do the same to this question. So we are screenshotting it live as posted to submit as well.
If posts are not in the taste someone prefers, I would think that maybe a better practice would be to publicly post that for others to see as well so everyone can understand what might be expected.
We don't know if we'll be successful, people will be angry, or if people will just take this down and ban this account as well, but we're going to make a good faith attempt to get clarity for all as to why certain posts are vanishing.
