I'm wondering if this project is just wrapping claymore+nofeeproxy in one app and redirecting the fee to their authors.

Since both projects (eminer & claymore) are closed-source we can't analyse how they works.
But IMHO, i don't think it related.
If you want to investigate more, feel free to use system tool like Wireshark and Process Monitor or some debugger. Good luck.
