Error entering water

When i enter the water i don't get a crash but my screen freezes up. It must be 2 blocks low water and you must try to enter it all the way. A Fix to this is to change the config For Water Distortion to False.
While my screen is frozen i can hear myself moving around and i can press esc with the screen frozen i can still quit and then quit to close the game.

You are not giving on enough info to help you sorry :(

Maybe give some pc specs ... what you did before this ... testing results with no other mods intalled including optifine.

Its been a long time, i'll try out your latest version in 20min and provide some Server and Client logs.
If i remember right. my screen would freeze up like if i had taken a screenshot but i could still hear myself walking around or entering water as if i was still playing the game.
