Issues with cite button (5.0 version)

Hi All - when i preview my site locally, the cite buttons on my publications all work perfectly. When I compile it and ftp the public folder to my website server, the entire site seems to work the same EXCEPT the cite buttons. (www.halket.com) On the public version, the cite buttons pop up an empty box with an error.
Anyone have any ideas as to why or have a working version with cite buttons?

Follow up --- If I look at the source code on my webpage now, the snippet around the cite button looks like:

That href="#" looks potentially out of place?

Looks like @gcushen beat me to it. Just for reference: href="#" means set scroll position to top of page. # are anchors, so if you have another tag with id=someID, you can scroll to that with href=#someID.

thanks for the follow ups. This is odd. the file is there, right next to the index.html file in that folder.

Haven't got time to look into this right now. Did notice that you're missing a trailing / in your website baseurl in config.toml. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Your problem is likely on your server side. I've build your site to a GitHub-pages site, on my account: https://chrede88.github.io/halket-test/
Here the cite buttons do work as expected.
