Nomenclature not showing up in report

Hi!

I am using a Latex template from the TU Delft for my thesis. https://www.tudelft.nl/huisstijl/downloads
I had problems with my nomenclature, list of figures and list of tables.
When running the report, the nomenclature chapter does not show up and the list of figures and list of tables were empty.
I have just managed to fix the lists by inserting
\setcounter{tocdepth}{1}
before the \listoffigures and \listoftables. Seems to be working now, do not know if it is a valid fix.

That example is far from minimal. Try to make a small document which does not generated a nomenclature as you want.

I tried to run it, but it looks like TeXiFy tries to run bibtex chapter-1 instead of bibtex chapter-1/chapter-1. That looks like a bug in TeXiFy, but I need a smaller example to verify that.
My output from bibtex:

bibtex chapter-1
I couldn't open file name `chapter-1.aux'

Process finished with exit code 1

Sorry about not providing a MWE. Quite new to Latex.
Currently trying to get a MWE to reproduce the issue

the code from the site does not seem to run 'as-is'. I have managed to get it working a few months ago, but do not remember what I had to do.
The strange thing is that the nomenclature is printed when I compile in Overleaf.

Ah, you are talking about using the nomenclature package. Thanks for the example! To my surprise, even latexmk doesn't seem to be able to handle this, and TeXiFy has also no automatic support for this yet.
I can compile this one manually with:

pdflatex main.tex
makeindex main.nlo -s nomencl.ist -o main.nls
pdflatex main.tex

after removing the \nomgroup command, because it generated an error ! Extra \fi..

Can you create a new feature request with this information?

At the moment, it's not very easy to run this with TeXiFy because the makeindex run configuration does not allow custom arguments. If I were you, I'd just use the Makefile IntelliJ plugin to work with the makefile until there is official TeXiFy support for this, but you can of course do whatever you like.

You can also run it with latexmk if you just want to run it without bothering which tools you need to run in what order. See https://github.com/Hannah-Sten/TeXiFy-IDEA/wiki/Compilers#latexmk (executive summary: install perl, then the latexmk LaTeX package.
(Make sure to run with -xelatex flag in this case)

So if I understand correctly, the compiler and Texify are not able to handle the nomenclature package?
the use of groups is done according to info by Overleaf: https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/nomenclatures
I wonder why it works when compiled in Overleaf then.

I seem to have to use Xelatex, because the report uses a custom font.

I can compile this one manually with:

pdflatex main.tex

Correct, I need to change something in TeXiFy to make this work. Apparently you're the first one who wants to use this package with TeXiFy.

1. Install the Makefile plugin
2. Change the makefile to add makeindex main.nlo -s nomencl.ist -o main.nls after the first pdflatex run
3. Run the makefile
