unable to run the app locally

thanks for great resource. I followed all the instructions. Unable to get the app running locally. I see the following error:

04/30 16:40:29: Launching 'Android.app' on Pixel 4 API 30.
Unable to determine application id: com.android.tools.idea.run.ApkProvisionException: ERROR: APK path is not specified for module "Android.app"

Any thoughts?

I also saw these errors:

Could not find com.uphyca:stetho_realm:2.3.0.
