Yoronex changed the title Support grid-like setups of fixtures within a lights group (2D). One possible solution is to add a "dimension" attribute to LightsGroup, which can either be 1D or 2D. Then, each fixture within a lights group should have a mandatory attribute x: double and an optional attribute y: double. Doubles are preferred over integers, because this makes the implementation robust for future features like mapping fixtures to physical positions in a room.
