Feature description
The option of arranging the event types in a different order than alphabetically. So that the user-defined order is then also displayed in the monthly view.
Why do you want this feature?
This means that I have important event types at the front of the month view, which I can quickly show and hide, and less important event types are at the end.

I would also be really interested in this feature - but I would like to take it even further: Not just allowing to rearrange calendars, but also to hide them.
My use case involves solely calendars synced via CalDAV, so I don't need any of the standard categories (Regular Event, Holidays, Birthdays). For now they appear in the bottom bar in the calendar overview and taking up space there unnecessarily. I would prefer to delete/hide some of them completely.
As an alternative to the above suggestion from @chriss-89, perhaps decoupling both lists would be a good way going forward?
I.e., all calendars are still listed under “Manage event types”, but only selected ones appear as toggles in the main overview. (For my use case, unused standard calendars/event types would then also be irrelevant).
Allowing to reorder them would be the cherry on top.

I assume you haven't found the "Manage quick filte event types" setting?
