MQA-identifier-python

An MQA (Studio, originalSampleRate) identifier for "lossless" flac files written in Python.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Python 3.6+

Installation

1. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/Dniel97/MQA-identifier-python.git && cd MQA-identifier-python

2. Install the requirements

   pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Usage

Usage: mqa-identifier-python.py [OPTIONS] [PATHS]...

Options:
  --fix-tags      Adds all the required tags for MQA such as MQAENCODE,
                  ENCODER and ORIGINALSAMPLERATE.
  -?, -h, --help  Show this message and exit.

Usage example

python3 mqa-identifier-python.py --fix-tags "path/to/flac/files"

Found 11 FLAC files to check
MQA files will be tagged, overwriting existing MQA tags!
