Hi there,
the releases on GitHub are generated automatically by GitHub from the contents of the development tree, and do not propose the real archives offered by the project. When they are not published on https://www.defora.org directly, they are always found at https://ftp.defora.org (now the preferred master site for DeforaOS packages in pkgsrc).
Therefore for libDesktop, the releases can be found at https://ftp.defora.org/pub/DeforaOS/Apps/Desktop/src/libDesktop/.
Sorry for the confusion, I will check if there is a way to replace the releases on GitHub with the adequate archives.
