Bug: text in the typing box stays even if I change channel/server/chat

Describe the bug
If you write something in the typing box it stays even after changing channel/server/chat. This isn't intended, it should disappear when changing and eventually come back (caching it) when going back to the initial position

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Write something in a server/chat;
2. change channel/server/chat;
3. The text stays there
